Visit from Hemet
Dr. Teele, superintendant of Hemet Unified School District and his wife Dr. Teele from California U.S. visited Kushimoto and Kushimoto Senior High School
April 8th 1999
Drs. Teele arrived in Kushimoto on April 7.
They had dinner with Kushimoto S.H.S. teachers and PTA members.
The next day, April 8, Kushimoto S.H.S. had a welcome ceremony for them.
In the ceremony, the principal, one of the students and Dr. Stephen Teele made speeches.
After those speeches, they enjoyed a Japanese traditional drum perfomance by Kushimoto locals and also by the student brass band.
After the ceremony, they enjoyed demonstrations by cultural clubs of calligraphy and
flower arrangememt.
They also visited Kushimoto City Hall to meet with the Mayor. After that, they did sightseeing around Kushimoto.
